New Yorkers Shocked By Undead Flash Mob

They say New Yorkers can take anything in stride but they are not sitting down for rush hour flash mob that had traffic snarled for hours during the evening commute. With the use of Facebook and Twitter thousands of Zombies, Ghouls and Ghasts posing as regular commuters jammed into the subway system overcrowding and delaying transit across Manhattan. When the rail grid ground to a halt they took to the streets, standing in the way of cars, overloading buses and taking taxis while pretending to be normal.

“They just kept talking about starbucks and how great avatar was” said Mabel Thorndicle of the Queens. Two others “Humans” pretended to be listening to their Ipod and droned on and on about the Middle East. “I thought they were normal people with poor dental hygiene, but it turns out as many as one third of them were undead.”

Mayor Bloomberg lashed out at an emergency press conference stating the “we the living don’t show up in cemeteries and try to crowd into graves, we don’t show up on the set of horror movies and take their jobs.”

The Undead Anti-defamation league published a response to the mayor’s statement on their web page. “Zombies are tired of being singled out as dull, dimwitted ignorant who feed on human flesh and drip blood from their mouths as portrayed in last summers smash undeadsploitation hit zombieland. They went on to say, “We are the last class of people that are regularly portrayed in insensitive ways. IN the 80’s it was Arabs, in the 60’s in was African Americans and in the 30’s it was Asians with their delicious brains.”

A zombie corned in central park by priest brandishing crucifix and holy water was reported as screaming out “How would you like it if every time you go out with you friends people start singing thriller”

The Undead Anti-Defamation league has promised to strike again as soon as they’re able to “Convert” more of the living. “It may be New York, or Chicago or Austin  you never know where we will strike.” Closed the ominous sounding web statement.

Law enforcement and clergy are said to be on high alert across the nation.
