First Two Episodes

The first two episodes are likely to be the hardest to produce because I'm writing them as I go. ALl the other chapters are done but these first two were added at the last moment to give a little depth to the story. Chapter three would have been chapter one but there was little or no depth or warning and though it may work well for a film I think starting here and building a little is better.

Will see.

So far I have gotten lots of good feedback and look forward to even doing a better job on chapter two.

Episode 1 is Done.

So many things I could say. So many thoughts I could express. I'm at a lost right not. Such a hurdle just to get here. This battle started a year ago and it may be a year until it is done. All I ever wanted out of life was a place to use my creativity to tell stories. I always seemed to have the stories or no time or to have the time but no venue. Now I have all three venue, time and stories and if I do nothing else in my life I will be a happy person.

If this is read by dozens, hundred or thousands it matters not. What matters to me is the burning desire I have to feed by creating, what matters is getting this project done.

I'm posting it on Libsyn until I can figure a way to get it to post here on Squarepace. still working that out.

I only have one episode done so I will need three to post to Itunes I think.

I will let you know what that happens.

Missed My Launch Time

Dang! Well the loss of a couple days in production can be felt now. I'm working hard to get the first episode done by tonight. Keep your fingers crossed. Wanted the 21st but you cant have everything you want.

Artist Makes My Day.

I would like to say that having a great artist attached to the Fire Sky project makes it so much more fun. Today I turned over to Vrin my crappy macPaint map and he sends me back less then four after what looks like something torn of a chart book.

Vrins artistic instincts are outstanding. In my book good art to story is like air to a runner, you can run without breathing but imagine how far you are going to make it with air.

Thanks Vrin, This just took him a few hours and that blows my mind.

Moving Towards First Episode

Added a map and a graphic to the art gallery for Firesky.

One piece is a map of the Crescent Kingdom the main Kingdom of the story. Graphics is not my strong spot but I really feel that I got a start on things with the map. I'm going to hand it over Vrin and see if he will doctor it up. I'm going to be adding to the map as time and the story moves on.

The graphic, is of the power structure under the First Chancellor. His personal staff and the tower council. I think I'm going to keep these sort of graphics going when ever they are relevant

Recording is going slow right now because the neighbor offices seem to be more occupied now that I started. Two weeks ago. a month ago nothing... now its very busy. So I record when I can. Still on track for the twenty first.

Introduction Video For FIre Sky

Well I Recorded the intro for the first episode and felt like it would make a good teaser with a little video. Threw this together on the stock IMovie that came with my MacBook. Very easy to do, enjoyed it a to do. So I posted it to my youtube account and here it is.

You will notice that it states the Feb 21st in the launch date for the first episode. I'm now setting that in stone. It may be a little while after until it post to Itunes. I think you need three podcast to make it on to Itunes. So Lets see how many episodes I can get done between now and then.

Monday First Recording Day

This upcoming monday will be my first recording day. I'm very excited about getting this first chapter done. I'm not sure how everything will go but I think with the new sound proofing all will be well. My goal is three episodes ready to go before I put it on Itunes.

I'm already thinking about second story I will do. Next story will be more of a mythology and that is exciting me to no end. That is what I have always loved.

Last Day

Last day before I start recording and I"m going off to hide and work on rewrite of chapter 1. I think that saying is true. You are not writing until you rewrite. A great learning time to be sure. feel like I need to mix it up. Like I need to go someplace new but not too distracting. Maybe the edgefield, maybe the library. Don't know but I feel someplace new would be good.

Next you see me write will be about recording.

Ready To Record First Episode

Everything is ready except a little sound proofing.

Need to start riding vrin on an artistic cover page.

Hope he is in the mood. Even if moods are for cattle and love play.
