How Never To Finish

I don't know how to write a big ass novel but I do know how not to.

1. Think you are going to just peck at it now and then.

2. Treat it like a hobby

3. Think you are not going to have to give up time with family

4. Think you are not going to give up time with friends.

5. Think you are not going to give up hobbies.

6. Don't have an outline or description of some kind.

If you are going to start a big project you need to get real not about what you are going to do but what you are going to give up. half assing it is just a waste of time. You are going to have to give up to get there is no way around that. Sure there are people who already have great novels or plays or scripts who will tell you they only work an hour a day.. good luck with that.

Stop being a writer and start being a finisher.

Sorry I'm just digging down deep to make this last leg of the journey. I'm on chapter 69 and we are getting close. Oh so close to the end. I can't let the story run away, I can feel that it wants too like a bike going down a steep hill if you don't keep control something bad will happen. ride as fast as you want but keep contorl.

Flip a coin, I could be done in a week or two, who can say.
