Lost and Profound Update for 2010
Sunday, January 17, 2010 at 9:46AM Over the three+ years I’ve been keeping track of all the things found in my bus. This is easy to do because at night when I go into office I fill out my personal record log and turn in lost items so I started to keep track. Here is the slice of what I have found
3 scarfs
13 gloves. Mostly singles hands at a time
5 hats
2 packs of GUM
7 Cell phones. By the way put something in your cell phone so some one finding you cell can call you and let you know.
4 wallets. One with a hundred dollars in it. On my return trip the guy was waiting there for me at the stop he got off on. He was very excited to see me
1 Jar with three slugs. Release in Beaverton…they have it coming out there in Beaverton
1 Large block of strange cheese.
6 satchel/bags/purses ranging from nice to smelly
1 lbs chocolate bar …never made it to lost and found…mystery that
2 lunch boxes, nothing good inside so I left them at the gate of the dry docks where I drop off the workers in the morning.
2 bags of grocies
15 umbrellas
1 application for the Portland police
1 Lbs of M&M opened and spilling all over my floor. Easy to clean up if you driver fast and put on your breaks they all come to the front. Open your door and start kicking. Bingo! Happy crows and clean bus.
1 application for bus driver filled out.
2 used syringes nicely stored in rolled up news paper ready to poke my hands if I was not careful
3 stuffed bears
6 pack of miller
Beers found in the back of my bus.

1 issue of Newsweek
2 issues of national geographic stolen from doctors office
1 live gold fish in a bag… gave it away I was 1 hour into a ten hour day..sucker would not have made it to the end of my shift
1 copy of OMNI magazine from 1980… I bought that one in the store when it first come out…did you know that by 1981 computers were going to cost less then one thousand dollars?
3 cans of coke full
1 bottle MT. dew … this could have been mine.
1 badge Multnomah county sheriff office. This guy was a regular I dropped it off to him after my shift.
1 gallon tub of pure bee honey
1 rain boot
2 Ipods
1 Iphone
1 baby bottle full and a breast pump.
Number of sleeper on my bus at the end of the rout that I had could not wake up and had to call the police is 1o.
4 Number of people arrested on my bus
Roll easy My Friends roll easy.
