My Grand Daughter

This is my daughter. Tori

i

I dearly love my daughter more then I can ever put into words.

My daughter was was, is and always has been very special to me.

Five Things I love About Her

1. Her sharp mind, Very quick to learn

2. Her sense of humor, I had a little to do with that I hope

3. Her ability to communicate, when not wracked by fear she can really talk

4. He ability to grow and change

5. The first day she was born, I rocked her in the hospital rocker and she fell asleep in my arms. That was awesome.

FIve Things I Hope About Her

1. She has the strength to Grow above where she is.

2. That she uses her education to make herself extraordinary

3. That she always stays the great mother she is proving her self to be

4. That she makes decisions based on the future of her child, not the friends of her past

5. That she always remembers her mother and I are as flawed as we are dedicated.  Like every parrent on earth.

March Is.. Move the Studio Month.

Stability add to productivity so moving a studio is never good on your production but I'm going to do it for two reason.

1. I decide to sell my car. for health reason I'm walking to work and that is hard to do when I driver to my current studio.

2. By having my studio here at home I can do a little recording each day and a little writing each night.

3. Working longer hours means I wont have as much time to get to the studio.

4. The set up at home is actually very easy to set up for recording. I very much like what I will have here.

and lastly

IT will be cheaper... and I'm a cheapskate... big time.

In Memory Of Andrew Koenig

When I first started podcasting two years ago the field was very limited. One of the interesting things was what I called the “Unmass” feeling of the media. It was not like TV, radio, print or Film. Here you could email a podcaster and nine out of ten times you would get an email back.

I stumbled upon a podcast called Never Not Funny that was in it’s early days and the I met Andrew Koenig. I had no clue at first about his father or sister or acting background he was just Andrew and he kept the video rolling I emailed him and he responded to my questions and asked a few of his own.

Later on we hooked up on face book and again a few messages and some longer emails about his films some chat debates about this or that. Though we didn’t see eye to eye on many things we always had fun. One thing that came through was Andrews good nature. There was something good deep inside of him and it always showed.

I wish I could say I knew him better,  our friendship was a handful of messages, a few chats and a half a dozen emails.

I did learned more about him over the years about his acting and his parents but he never seem to let that define him he was about standing on his own. His passing has touched so many lives. Son, brother, Uncle, Friend, Film Maker, Video Maker, He did more then talk he walked the walk when it came to his convictions. A man of passions that sometimes flamed and sometimes were very touching, he sent me an Email after I made a donation to Smile Train that floored me and brought tears to my eyes.

My heart goes out to his parents and family, no words can do justice to how so many of us feel about your loss. My heart goes out to the many friends, fans and supporters who loved Andrew as well.

Andrew will be missed by the many who loved him. He will be missed by the many he touched with his creative works. I will miss you Andrew the world was made a little more sad by your leaving it too soon.

Fighting to Make Due Date.

Everything on hold while I'm working on getting the first episode of Fire Sky ready to roll. This is killing me because I missed a day of recording and that puts me a day behind my due date. Grrrrr! anger!.

I will be back to posting as soon as I get this first episode done and up.

Everything else just put on hold for the moment.
